Yinka Theisen has expressed her desire to reconcile with her estranged husband, Nollywood actor Linc Edochie.
Taking to Instagram, the wife of Pete Edochie’s son shared a cryptic message about enduring love and emotional storms, signaling her continued hope for a reunion.
“True love never dies. The tides turn, and the storm rages. ‘Be still, I say’, and yet the tides grow stronger! Hush!!! Be still!” she wrote.
Yinka and Linc tied the knot in June 2025. Shortly after their marriage, Yinka publicly showed support for Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy Austin—an action that sparked backlash from supporters of Yul’s first wife, May Edochie.
Last month, Linc publicly distanced himself from Yinka after she made controversial remarks about May. In a statement, the actor disapproved of the attacks and the act of sharing May’s phone number online, which had triggered unwanted consequences.
“It is better to be alone and at peace than to be in a union filled with landmines,” he said, adding that he does not support behavior that encourages chaos.
In response, Yinka took to social media to express her disappointment, stating that her husband’s public condemnation was driven by fear.
“Let them keep laughing at me,” she wrote, addressing critics. She further expressed her hurt, saying, “How can a man I love throw me under the bus over an argument because of fear?” According to her, “Since he cowardly embarrassed me on social media, I will respond in kind.”
Speaking in her first interview since the controversy, Yinka suggested that her being Yoruba may have played a role in how the Edochie family treated her. She denied accusations of leaking the contact details of Linc and another family member.
She also took aim at veteran actress Rita Edochie, claiming that while Rita publicly sides with May, she allegedly causes problems behind the scenes.
“They threw me under the bus,” Yinka said, as she insisted she was being wrongly accused and unfairly treated within the family.
