Cardi B Throws Pen At Man Outside Court After ‘Disrespectful’ Pregnancy Question

Fresh out of a $24 million civil lawsuit, Cardi B isn’t taking disrespect from anyone.

While exiting the courtroom in Alhambra, California, on Tuesday, Sept. 2, the 32-year-old rapper threw a pen at someone who asked about pregnancy rumors amid her divorce from rapper Offset and her new romance with NFL player Stefon Diggs.

“Cardi, insiders are claiming that Offset is publicly bragging about getting you pregnant for the fourth time,” the man is heard asking. “Do you foresee any paternity issues with Stefon Diggs?”

A video circulating online, as well as footage published by Reuters outside the courthouse, shows Cardi immediately grab a pen and throw it at the man. “Stop disrespecting me,” Cardi says. “Don’t disrespect me.”

She then proceeds to walk toward her vehicle with security by her side. “I still love you even though you threw some stuff at me,” he responds.

“I don’t care. (You’re) disrespectful, don’t do that. Do you see women asking those types of questions to me?” Cardi replied. “Why do you feel, as a man, (that) you get to ask me those types of questions? Act like you have some manners. And your mama taught you, respect women.”

Cardi is then seen inside the vehicle with the windows down, telling a crowd of reporters that they can thank that man for a lack of civility in future media appearances outside court. “Y’all are not going to see me after that, and you can thank him,” she said. “I’m not playing around. I was very nice I was very kind … Nobody’s going to get that no more.”
