A popular online doctor on X (formerly known as Twitter), ‘Dr Penking’ has raised concern over how habitually Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen is seen banqueting in people’s homes during his ongoing visit to Nigeria. In a broadly distributed post, the doctor warned the Super Eagles forward to be more tentative, especially as a professional footballer subject to anti-doping rules.

Anti-doping agencies perform on “strict liability” — meaning a footballer is fully responsible for whatever enters their system, whether it was taken knowingly, unknowingly. A jagged nutriment could lead to a ban, and a gifted or up and coming career could fade overnight.
