I’m very disappointed in Mercy Chinwo — Activist Verydarkman says as he releases sh0cking evidence amid her dispute with her ex-Label boss, Eezee Tee (VIDEO/DETAILS)

Nigerian activist Verydarkman (VDM) has weighed in on the heated dispute between gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her former record label boss, Eezee Tee, expressing deep disappointment in her actions while releasing what he claims to be damning evidence.
In a recent video, VDM alleged that Mercy Chinwo used the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to detain Eezee Tee for nine days in Ilorin, freeze his bank accounts, and force him to admit in writing that he withheld her royalties. He further claimed that Mercy took Eezee to the bank and compelled him to transfer $234,000 to her account before his accounts were unfrozen.
According to VDM, months before this incident, Eezee had sent Mercy an email requesting a full audit of her earnings from events and asking her to remit the funds. However, Mercy allegedly refused, sending only $3,500 and still declining an account audit.
Eezee’s Role in Mercy’s Career & the 2019 Alleged Forged Contract
Eezee Tee also reportedly told VDM that his team was instrumental in Mercy Chinwo’s rise to fame during her time on Nigerian Idol 2012. He claimed they backed her throughout the competition, but after she won the show and received ₦7.5 million, she cut off contact and they didn’t hear from her again until 2017, when she returned to kneel and beg for a record deal.
Initially, Eezee refused, citing trust issues due to her past actions, but Mercy later brought people to plead on her behalf, convincing him to sign her.
Regarding the alleged forged contract of 2019, Eezee stated that although they began working together in 2017, the official paperwork was only signed in 2019. He explained that the date was later adjusted from 9 to 7, with Mercy’s signature on the document.
VDM Challenges Mercy Chinwo to Respond
Sharing the video, VDM expressed his frustration and challenged Mercy and her legal team to refute his claims:
“With these evidences, I am really disappointed in Mercy and everything she represents. After this video, I dare her to counter this. Her lawyers can also sue me if they can. It’s a shame that someone of her level in Nigeria’s Christian music scene would do all of these. At the end, nobody holy pass, and like I said before, they are all wearing a mask.”
As the controversy continues to unfold, many are now waiting to see if Mercy Chinwo will respond to these serious allegations.
