Former beauty queen, Omowunmi Akinnifesi has opened up about being a virgin at 37, saying that she made a vow to God at the age of 18 not to have sex.
She said in an Instagram post that she vowed to God to keep her self-worth and purity, and that although many people consider her decision to be celibacy, she has never had any kind of intimacy.
Akinnifesi recounted her experiences after coming out as a virgin, saying that her friends made fun of her choice and that several unfavorable articles about her sexual orientation went viral.
She emphasizes that she has never felt ashamed of her sexuality because of God’s mercy.
