Online community users are not happy with Azadus, Comedian Seyilaw, and singer 9ice and other youths who walked to support Bola Tinubu in Lagos today.

The Lagos State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday commended the youth for their massive turnout at the rally in support of the party’s Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shetima.

The Eko Youth Walk, organised by Bola Tinubu support groups, began from Maryland at 7.00a.m. and saw youths walking through Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Joel Ogunaike Str., Oba Akinjobi Str. and terminated at Police College.

The walk grounded vehicular traffic in and around the GRA in Ikeja, as several commuters resorted to trekking long distances.

The walk was also to throw support for the reelection of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his running mate, Obafemi Hamzat, in the 2023 general elections.

The Lagos State APC Publicity Secretary, Seye Oladejo, in a statement, said the party acknowledged and was motivated by the turnout of the youth to throw support for the APC candidates.

However, reacting to the sight of certain celebrities who partook in the work, some of their fans slammed them on Instagram.

Doylyf wrote: “Those of you screaming it’s their constitutional rights should know that these people can run of the country when problems start. That’s why it’s not good reason to support a pending doom, rights or not. But again it’s their constitutional rights. Na Yankee I dey. so wetin even concern me sef.”

Mr. Faro wrote: “Seyi Law leave UK and came to campaign for Bola Tinubu in Nigeria because of money? See that money no go finish ooh! Tinubu will not still win. And we shall be here to shame you, I swear.”

Dripsandtreats wrote: “Wow! It seems Nigeria is not even ready. We don’t know what we want yet.”
