AMVCA2022: Mr Macaroni reacts after man claimed he deserved the ‘Best Content Creator’ award more than Sabinus

Nigerian skit maker, Mr Macaroni has reacted to claims that he deserved the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards for the ‘Best Online Social Content Creator’ more than his colleague, Sabinus.

It was gathered that a Twitter critic, Daniel Regha had stated that Sabinus won the award out of favouritism.

He asserted that Mr Macaroni was in a better position to win the award.

“Sabinus winning the AMVCA award for “Best Online Social Content Creator” is a big joke, no-one deserves that recognition more than Macaroni; Y’all can hype Sabinus all u want but Macaroni is doin more with his skits than other comedians right now. Sabinus won out of favorit!sm.” Daniel wrote.

Reacting to this, Mr Macaroni noted that Sabinus deserved the AMVCA award as he has brought joy and laughter to the faces of millions including his.

The comedian went on to plead with netizens not to ruin the beautiful moment.

He said;

“Sabinus winning the AMVCA Award is very well deserved!! He has brought joy and laughter to the faces of millions including mine. I have also had the pleasure of featuring him in about 3 of my contents.

I share in his win. Please let us not ruin this beautiful moment,”
