Governor Douye Diri removes Nengi as Face of Bayelsa Girl Child, Replaces Her With A First Class Graduate
Big Brother Naija former housemate , Nengi Rebecca Hampson has been removed as the Face of Bayelsa Girl Child by the State Governor Duoye Diri.
Nengi has been replaced with Ebizi Blessing Eradiri, a First Class graduate of Law at the Niger Delta University (NDU).
Few weeks ago, so many Nigerians faulted the appointment of Nengi as the face of the girl child in Bayelsa , while insisting that Eradiri has made Bayelsans proud with her excellent and outstanding performance at the Niger Delta University and the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus.
Governor Douye Diri on Monday January 11, announced that Ebizi Blessing Eradiri is the New Face of Bayelsa. He also gave her an automatic employment at NDU’s Faculty of Law as a lecturer.
The governor also condemned the politicization of Nengi’s appointment and further stated that his administration’s investments in the education sector would remain a top priority.

Incumbent President Yoweri Museveni, who has been in office since 1986, has emerged the winner of the Uganda 2021 presidential election with 58.64% of the total votes, the country’s electoral commission declared on Saturday, January 16.
His main rival, Bobi Wine, who had 34.8% of the total vote, however, alleged the election was anything but free and fair.
He accused Museveni of fabricating the results and called the poll “the most fraudulent election in the history of Uganda.”
The election took place after one of the most violent campaigns in years, with harassment and arrests of the opposition, attacks on the media and the deaths of at least 54 people.
Chelsea legendary footballer, Didier Drogba has anmounced his seperation from his wife, Laila after being married for 20 years. This is happening after a video of him and a mystery woman surfaced online.
Drogba made this announcement on his instagram story. He wrote:
“I am not used to discussing my private life, but due to speculation in the media today, I will confirm that unfortunately after 20 years together Lalla and I have made the difficult decision to go our separate ways. Last year.
“We remain very close and our main goal has been our children and to protect them and the privacy of the family.”
The couple are blessed with three children: Isaac, Iman and Kieran.
The US Presidential Inauguration Committee has announced that Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez will perform in the swearing-in of the president elect,Joe Biden on 20th January, which will hold at the West Front of the US Capitol building,
The event will begin with an invocation by Father Leo J.O’Donovan,an old friend of Biden who is also a Jesuit Catholic Priest.
After the invocation,the pledge of allegiance will follow, which will be conducted by Andrea Hall,an African American.
After that,comes the National Anthem by Lady Gaga, poetry by Amanda Gorman, Musical performance by Jennifer Lopez and Benediction by Rev.Fr Sylvester Beaman.
