Agbani Darego celebrates 37th birthday today

Agbani Darego, the only Nigerian that has  won the Miss World Beauty pageant is 37 years today.

In 2001, Rivers state born, Agbani Darego became the miss world. In early 2001, Darego was crowned Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria.

A few months later she was a contestant at Miss Universe, where she finished in seventh place.

In November that year, Darego contested against other beauty queens and won the prestigious miss world title.

In April 2017, Darego got married to Ishaya Danjuma who is a son of Billionaire Yakubu Danjuma.

Darego currently resides in New York with her family.
